I have always had a passion for art, although deciding which avenue to pursue was a continuous struggle. At the age of 12 I started working at art school that I also attended. Constantly forgetting to pick up my tiny paycheques, as I just enjoyed being there so much.

When I went to my high school guidance counsellor and told them I wanted to create advertisements, they directed me to marketing. I now have a Marketing Management Diploma, and a year of Graphic Design schooling under my belt. I’ve worked in the graphic design industry, the promotional product industry, and Communications, in both the private and public sector. I found that even though my careers were creative in nature, that creativity was also very limited, and I needed more personal outlet for my artwork.

I decided to teach myself tattooing as a creative outlet during the COVID-19 pandemic, to help distract and relieve myself from my overactive brain.  I also had some really enlightening and positive experiences with a few tattoo artists in town that inspired me, and some not so inspiring interactions; that made me want to better the industry and change client perspectives on how tattoo artists should treat them. Along the way I found a great comfort in illustration, a reunited passion for design and an exciting sense of community.

My artwork is heavily influenced by my personal life experiences and interests, and my flash designs are usually shaped by the way an experience has made me feel metaphorically. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2020, and this motif often makes an appearance in my artwork.

I am interested in doing larger, intricate tattoos and also smaller/almost realistic designs and look forward to hearing all your ideas!
